University of Michigan Professor Don Peurach recounts his research on large-scale, network-based educational improvement initiatives and the article “Innovating at the Nexus of Impact and Improvement: Leading Educational Improvement Networks,” published in Educational Researcher.
He joins CPRE [Consortium for Policy Research in Education] Director Jonathan Supovitz to discuss the distinguishing characteristics of those initiatives, compared to more traditional professional development providers, and presents evidence of their effectiveness.
