Author Ann Ishimaru is joined by Muhammad Khalifa and Megan Bang for a discussion of her new book Just Schools: Building Equitable Collaborations with Families and Communities (Teachers College Press, 2019), part of the Multicultural Education Series (https://www.tcpress.com/mce). They discuss the challenges and possibilities for building more equitable forms of collaboration among nondominant families, communities, and schools.
Ann Ishimaru is an Associate Professor of Educational Policy, Organizations, and Leadership at the University of Washington College of Education.
Muhammad Khalifa is a Professor of Educational Administration at The Ohio State University.
